Alba Basora Marti has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Alba started their career in 2005 as a Receptionist at Hotel Blaumar, where they worked until 2007. Alba then joined Grupo Reside Hostelería. In 2008, they worked at PortAventura as an International Sales Executive before moving up to roles like Técnico E-Distribution, Técnico Senior Edistribution, and Responsable Edistribution. In 2015, they joined Serhs Tourism as a Sales & Distribution Manager for Urban & International Destinations. Later that year, they became the Head of eDistribution at PortAventura, where they oversaw global sales and the account management team. In 2018, they joined Expedia Group as an Acquisition Manager responsible for signing new partnerships. Most recently, they worked at Groupon as the Assortment Operations Manager and then as the Senior Manager Assortment Operations and Lead Management. Currently, they are working at Go City as the Strategic Accounts Director and the Enterprise Partnerships Regional Manager for Europe.
Alba Basora Marti attended Universitat Rovira i Virgili from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a Diplomatura Turismo (Degree in Tourism) with a specialization in Hosteleria y Agencia de Viajes (Hospitality and Travel Agency). Prior to that, they studied at IES Escuela de Hostelería y Turismo de Cambrils from 2003 to 2004, completing a Ciclo formativo de grado superior (Higher Degree Cycle) in Alojamiento (Accommodation).
