David Smith's work experience includes various roles in digital marketing and acquisition. David began their career at Thomson Reuters as a Data Editor - Policy Manager. David later worked at Connexity, Inc. as a Search Operations Specialist, where they focused on optimizing search engine results and improving usability. From there, they moved to MediaCom, where they held roles as a Search Executive, Search Planner Buyer (SEM), and Senior Search/Facebook Planner Buyer (SEM), overseeing paid advertising and optimizing search accounts. David then joined Sainsbury's as a Digital Acquisition Manager, responsible for driving their digital acquisition and search strategy. After that, they worked at Digital River as a Senior Acquisition Manager, leading a team and implementing impactful changes to ways of working for global clients. Most recently, they served as Vice President at Go City®, overseeing customer acquisition strategy, budget, and analytics across all digital marketing channels.

David Smith obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Theoretical Physics from Queen Mary University of London, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, they attended Archbishop Tenisons School. In addition to their formal education, David also has several certifications, including "Discovering Personality with Jordan B. Peterson" from Jordan B. Peterson, "Trading Academy" certifications from The Trade Desk in various areas of trading, and a "Search Certification" from Google.
