Akshitha Upadyayula

Akshitha Upadyayula currently serves as an Operations and Recruitment Associate at The D. E. Shaw Group, having previously worked as a Risk Management Apprentice at RMAS where responsibilities included identifying enterprise risks and consulting on internal control processes. Akshitha functioned as a Student Placement Coordinator at Mahindra University, developing marketing materials and networking with industry partners for recruitment initiatives. Additional experience includes roles in customer engagement and marketing strategy at GoCoop, where data-driven recommendations enhanced brand positioning, and as a Research Interviewer at C2FO, contributing to a business case study to be published in Harvard Business Publishing. Leadership is demonstrated through the role of Head of Student Leader Council at The Future Kid's School, overseeing event organization and team coordination. Akshitha holds a Level 1 Qualification in Enterprise Risk Management from the Institute of Risk Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Finance from Mahindra University.
