Job Description: Mid-Level Software Developer at Flexio

Location: Puerto Rico or Remote

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and Implement Software Solutions: Design, code, and implement scalable software solutions that align with Flexio’s business goals. Focus on creating high-performance applications for logistics management, including shipment tracking, inventory management, and route optimization.

2. Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, UI/UX designers, and QA testers, to deliver integrated solutions. Participate in peer code reviews and collaborate effectively to achieve project milestones.

3. Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to the improvement of development processes, embracing agile methodologies, and participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

4. Problem-Solving: Apply critical thinking to troubleshoot complex issues, providing efficient and innovative solutions to software-related problems.

5. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and reliability of code through thorough testing, debugging, and refactoring. Collaborate with QA teams to identify and fix bugs in a timely manner.

6. Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends, programming techniques, and best practices in software development, especially in the logistics and supply chain domain.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software development.
• Proficient in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, etc.) and software development frameworks.
• Experience with database management and data modeling.
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web service integration.
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum development process.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of logistics or supply chain management systems.
• Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
