Ville Räsänen

Ville Räsänen has a diverse work experience in finance and consulting roles. Ville started their career as an Intern in Business Law Affairs at the Ministry of Employment and the Economy. Ville then transitioned to roles at Trainers' House as a Marketeer and BIetBI Advisors Shanghai Ltd as a Junior Tax Consultant. Ville also worked at Ernst & Young Finland, starting as an Associate and progressing to roles as a Senior Associate and Manager in Assurance Services. Their responsibilities included managing audit engagements for various industries, with a focus on technology and start-up companies. Ville then joined HMD Global as the Global Finance and Tax Compliance Manager, responsible for driving significant cost savings through finance and tax compliance platform transformation. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Financial Controlling and Treasury at Gofore.

Ville Räsänen completed a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a focus on Accounting and Finance at the University of Vaasa from 2007 to 2010. Ville then went on to earn a Master of Science in Economics with a specialization in Business Law from Aalto University between 2010 and 2012. Additionally, in 2011, they participated in a Fundamental Chinese Training Program focused on Economics at the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
