Jeff Platt

Jeff Platt is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Communications Manager II at GoFundMe since March 2021, where oversight includes communications and media relations for the Rocky Mountain and Pacific Northwest Regions, in addition to onboarding and mentoring new associates. Prior to this role, Jeff held various positions at KBAK Eyewitness News from July 2017 to March 2021, including Reporter/Anchor/Forecaster, along with roles as a Video Production Teacher at the Regional Occupational Center and Reporter/MMJ at KBOI 2 News. Early career experiences include roles as Reporter/Anchor/Producer at KCWY, Staff Writer for Tennessee Smokies Baseball, and Producer/Engineer for the Chicago Cubs. Jeff holds a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Arizona State University, earned in 2014.
