Piotr Karwowski is a seasoned professional in the gaming industry with extensive experience in operations, design, and development. Currently serving as Joint Chief Operating Officer and a Board Member at CD PROJEKT RED since 2015, Piotr has played a pivotal role in the company's strategic direction. Previously, as Managing Director and VP of Online Technologies at GOG from 2007 to 2021, Piotr was instrumental in developing GOG GALAXY, a comprehensive desktop client for gamers. Piotr co-founded GOG.com, contributing to its design and development as a DRM-free digital distribution platform. Earlier, Piotr worked at CD PROJEKT SA from 1998 to 2007 as Design Lead, notably designing GRAM.PL, a major gaming website in Poland, and managing official fansites for several iconic games. Piotr holds a Bachelor of Engineering in IT with a focus on Multimedia and Artificial Intelligence from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology.
