George Chiao

George Chiao, CPA, currently serves as the Head of External Reporting & SEC Compliance at Gogoro since December 2021. Prior to this role, George held various positions at TIBCO Software Inc., including Director of Treasury and Senior Manager of Financial Reporting and Treasury Operations from November 2006 to July 2021. Additionally, George worked at Informatica as Senior Manager of SEC Reporting & SOX and at Interwoven as SEC Reporting and Compliance Manager. Earlier career experiences include roles at iManage, Deloitte, Hood & Strong, LLP, and Samuel H. Wong & Co., LLP, starting as a Staff Accountant and advancing to Senior Auditor. George Chiao earned a Master of Science in Accounting with a Tax Concentration from Golden Gate University (1994-1996) and a Bachelor of Science in Finance & Decision Science from the University of Oregon (1990-1993).
