Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy
Brooke Ekdahl is a versatile professional with extensive experience in writing, customer service, and operations within the tourism and arts sectors. Currently serving as a Freelance Writer for Spotted by Locals since June 2021, Brooke has also held the position of Sales Associate II at Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy since March 2012, where responsibilities include providing exceptional visitor services, selling interpretive merchandise, and assisting with daily operations at the Welcome Center. Previous roles include a Bookseller at Stanford Bookstore and an Administrative Intern at The San Francisco Film Society, as well as volunteer positions at the San Francisco International Film Festival and the San Francisco Silent Film Festival. Brooke holds a BA in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from San Francisco State University and has a foundation in art with an AA from Mendocino College.
