Elsa Calvillo is an experienced professional in youth development and environmental education, currently serving as the Senior Program Manager of Internships & Workforce Development at Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy since September 2016. In this role, Elsa coordinates various youth programs, supervises a team, and collaborates with local agencies to foster connections between youth and the outdoors. Previously, Elsa held positions at World Savvy, Global Citizens Network, and MESA, focusing on program logistics, budget management, and participant well-being in international contexts. With a Master’s in International Education from the School for International Training and a Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies from San Francisco State University, Elsa has a strong educational background that complements the extensive experience in educational program development and community engagement.
