Gary Barbaree has extensive experience in various roles within the United Methodist Church and nonprofit organizations, focusing on community engagement, creativity, and facility management. Currently serving as Church Sexton and Animateur at Pine United Methodist Church since January 2019, Gary also works as a Sales Associate and Retail Interpretation team member at the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy. Past positions include Pastor at multiple churches, Executive Director at Arches Nonprofit Organization, and Director of Creativity and The Arts at Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Gary's educational background includes post-graduate courses in Art History from the Graduate Theological Union, a Master of Divinity degree from Pacific School of Religion, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Vanderbilt University.
