Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy
Kate Bickert has a diverse and extensive work experience in the conservation and environmental field. Kate started their career in 1996 at the Rails-To-Trails Conservancy, where they served as the Director of the California Field Office and later became the Vice President of Field Operations. In 2003, they joined the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy and held various roles, including Associate Director for Park Projects & Trails Forever, Director of Park Initiatives & Stewardship, and Senior Director for Engagement and New Initiatives. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Strategic Innovation at the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy.
Kate Bickert obtained their Bachelor's degree in American/United States Studies/Civilization from Brown University. Kate then pursued a Master's degree in Urban Forestry and Environmental Policy from the Yale School of the Environment from 1993 to 1995.
