Michela B. Gentile is an experienced professional in the fields of environmental science and communication, currently serving as a Science Engagement & Communication Specialist and previously as Program Manager for Stewardship & Science Communication at the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy since April 2016. Prior experience includes roles as a Sustainability Specialist/Environmental Programs Assistant for the City of Cupertino and an intern at LAND studio. Michela also contributed as a Research Assistant and Graduate Student Instructor at the Environmental Spatial Analysis Laboratory at the University of Michigan. Academically, Michela holds a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science and Spanish from The Ohio State University and a Master of Science in Natural Resources and Environment from the University of Michigan.
