Samuel Lowinger has extensive experience in customer service and visitor engagement roles, primarily at the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy. Since May 2021, Samuel has served as a Sales Associate, assisting up to 5,000 visitors daily at Alcatraz Island bookstores and managing inquiries related to tour experiences. Prior to this role, Samuel worked as a Visitor Services Representative, both at Muir Woods Visitor Center and Alcatraz Island, focusing on fee collection, information dissemination, and enhancing visitor experiences. Earlier professional experience includes serving as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst at Apex Systems, where responsibilities included content analysis and validation using proprietary GIS software. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Planning from California State University, Chico.
