DJ D Sharp has served as the official DJ for the Golden State Warriors since October 2012. In addition, DJ D Sharp has been a DJ and producer for Sharp State since January 2004. Prior to these roles, DJ D Sharp worked with Quannum Projects from 1999 to 2007, performing as a DJ for notable acts such as Latyrx, Lyrics Born, and Blackalicious. DJ D Sharp's career also includes a management position at Foot Locker from 1994 to 2001.

The Golden State Warriors organization is a charter member of the National Basketball Association. Founded in 1946, the Warriors called the city of Philadelphia home for 16 memorable years before moving to the West Coast in 1962 to become the San Francisco Warriors and ultimately, in 1971, the Golden State Warriors when the team moved to its current home in Oakland. The team’s storied history includes five NBA Championships, six of the NBA’s 50 Greatest Players and 27 members of Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The Warriors also were recipients of the 2014 and 2016 Sports Team of the Year Award by the Sports Business Journal/Daily and recognized again this year as a Finalist for the award.
