Lily Johnson is a seasoned event management professional with extensive experience in the sports and hospitality industries. Currently serving as Manager of Event Services for the Golden State Warriors since July 2019, Lily has progressively advanced from Coordinator to Senior Coordinator in the same department. Previous positions include Event Coordinator for the Milwaukee Bucks Inc. and Event Services roles with the Miami HEAT and Nike. Lily contributed as a Mentor for the COVID-19 Business Fellowship Program, connecting students with small businesses during the pandemic. Lily holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism & Event Management from Indiana University Bloomington, complemented by a minor in Marketing and further education at IAVM Venue Management School.

The Golden State Warriors organization is a charter member of the National Basketball Association. Founded in 1946, the Warriors called the city of Philadelphia home for 16 memorable years before moving to the West Coast in 1962 to become the San Francisco Warriors and ultimately, in 1971, the Golden State Warriors when the team moved to its current home in Oakland. The team’s storied history includes five NBA Championships, six of the NBA’s 50 Greatest Players and 27 members of Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The Warriors also were recipients of the 2014 and 2016 Sports Team of the Year Award by the Sports Business Journal/Daily and recognized again this year as a Finalist for the award.
