Paul Chao

Paul Chao, CPA, currently serves as the Executive Director of Internal Audit at 高盛 since May 2018, where responsibilities include acting as the chief statutory auditor for the Taiwan branch and leading APAC and global audit projects across various regions including Hong Kong, China, Tokyo, Singapore, Seoul, Sydney, and Bengaluru. Prior to this role, Paul was a Manager in Retail Banking and Wealth Management at 香港匯豐銀行 from May 2016 to May 2018, participating in the HSBC Global Graduate Trainee Program with exposure to various banking functions. Earlier experience includes serving as an External Auditor in Financial Services at 安永 from September 2014 to April 2016, focusing on financial statement audits and assurance services for large financial holding companies in Taiwan. Paul Chao holds a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from National Taiwan University.
