Timothy McNamara

Timothy McNamara currently serves as Vice President in the Legal department focused on Technology, Sourcing, and Intellectual Property at Goldman Sachs since November 2023, while also contributing as a Guest Lecturer at the William & Mary - Raymond A. Mason School of Business. Timothy is a Charter Member of TechGC, an exclusive community for General Counsels. Previously, Timothy was Associate General Counsel at AutoFi, overseeing the legal aspects of contracts and compliance for an enterprise SaaS startup. Prior roles include Senior Corporate Counsel at LSEG, where legal advice was provided on derivatives and fintech, and Associate at Dechert LLP, focusing on corporate and securities law. Earlier experiences include consulting for government agencies and companies at Deloitte and Acquisition Solutions Inc. Timothy holds a B.A. in Economics and a JD from William & Mary.
