Charlotte Ashdown (née Emms) is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as Communications Manager at Lightyear since August 2023. Prior to this role, Charlotte gained extensive experience at iwoca, where positions included UK PR Manager and various levels within PR and communications. Earlier in the career, Charlotte was a Risk Consultant at Twenty Group and honed performance skills as a ballet and contemporary dancer with EDGE Dance Company and the London Contemporary Dance School. Academically, Charlotte holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Contemporary Dance from London Contemporary Dance School and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Kent. Additionally, Charlotte completed a study abroad programme in Dance at Purchase College, SUNY, and has a strong educational background from Hills Road Sixth Form College and King's Ely.
