Mihkel Aamer has a diverse work experience. In 2008, they interned at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories. Mihkel then worked as a software engineer at Motorola from 2009 to 2010. Mihkel joined UBS as a software engineer in 2011, and then moved to Transferwise in 2013 as an Engineering Lead. At Transferwise, they led engineering teams responsible for payment integrations, international expansion, and new products. Mihkel is currently working at Lightyear as a Co-Founder and CTO, starting in 2020.
Mihkel Aamer pursued their undergraduate education from 2007 to 2012 at the University of Bristol, where they obtained an MEng degree in Engineering Design.
