Carlos Alvarez Lopez

Carlos Alvarez Lopez has over two decades of experience in digital transformation and strategy, currently serving as Chief Digital Officer at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo since December 2018. Prior roles include key positions in digital transformation at Endesa, and Senior Manager of Digital Strategy at Deloitte. Carlos began their career at IBM, where various roles encompassed SOA Specialist and Project Manager for business transformation projects. Educational qualifications include an MBA from IE Business School and a Ph.D. in Software Engineering from Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, where an engineering degree in Computer Science was also obtained.
