James Engel has diverse work experience in engineering and manufacturing roles. James is currently employed as a Fiber Engineer at GoNetspeed since August 2020. Prior to this, they worked at R.P. Fedder Industrial as a Senior Staff Engineer from January 2020 to August 2020 and as a Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer from October 2018 to January 2020. Additionally, they served as a Design Engineer/Purchasing at EZConcept from August 2017 to October 2018. James also has experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer (Contract) at Construction Robotics in November-December 2016, a Mechanical Engineering Technician (Contract) at Harris RF Communications from April-September 2016, and an Assembler Specialist (Contract) at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics from March-April 2016. Prior to these roles, they worked as a CNC Machinist at Corbett-Steeves Pattern Works in June-August 2014. James also gained experience as a Systems Engineering Intern at Exelis from May-August 2013, where they were responsible for tasks such as writing tech-notes, following ITAR protocol, and creating a program database.
James Engel attended Alfred University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
