Juan F Roman serves as the Global Head of Business Development for Life Sciences at G&H (Gooch & Housego) since October 2024. Prior to this, Roman held various leadership roles at Veranex, including Vice President of Strategic Accounts and Strategic Development in the Diagnostics and Life Sciences sectors, fostering corporate partnerships to drive innovation and growth. Roman's extensive experience also includes positions at Finisterre Medica Ltd. and MedTech Innovator as a consultant and mentor, respectively, along with commercial leadership roles at Sentec Ltd., Cambridge Consultants, and the NHS. A seasoned engineer, Roman began the career as a Senior R&D Engineer at Bayer Diagnostics, contributing to the development of diagnostics instruments used worldwide. Educational credentials include a PhD in Optical Engineering from Loughborough University, and an MBA from The Open University.
