Greg Allen is an accomplished theater educator, playwright, and director with extensive experience in Neo-Futurism. Currently serving as a Commissioned Theater Educator and Director at Chicago Children's Theatre and a Commissioned Playwright at Goodman Theatre, Greg also plays a pivotal role at UnTheatre Company as a playwright, director, and performer. In academia, Greg teaches at the University of Houston-Downtown and the University of Chicago, where classes focus on Neo-Futurism, Playwriting, and Performance Art. Additionally, Greg is an adjunct professor at DePaul University, specializing in Company Creation. As the Founding Director of the Neo-Futurist Theater, Greg developed the performance theory of Neo-Futurism and continues to contribute to its global presence. Education includes a BA in English/Theater from Oberlin College.
