Soumen Mukherjee

Soumen Mukherjee has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Soumen started their career at PwC as an Audit & Business Advisory Services Senior, leading teams in audit assignments for large corporations. Soumen then worked at Tata Steel Downstream Products Limited, where they held various positions including Manager Finance & Accounts, Executive Assistant to the Managing Director, and Head of Business Unit for the Singur Nano Project. During their time at Tata Steel, Soumen was responsible for financial feasibility of major capital expenditure decisions, project management, and consolidations and reporting. Soumen is currently working at Goodricke Group Limited, where they have held roles such as Manager Finance & Accounts, Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts, General Manager - Finance & Accounts, Chief Financial Officer, and currently Finance Director & CFO. In these roles, Soumen has provided overall financial leadership, managed accounting functions, and worked closely with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic objectives are met.

Soumen Mukherjee has a diverse education history. Starting from 1980 to 1991, they attended Aurobindo Vidyamandir. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree from St. Xavier's College in Kolkata from 1993 to 1996. In 1996, Soumen Mukherjee enrolled in The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they obtained the Chartered Accountant qualification. Additionally, they completed an Executive Diploma in General Management from XLRI Jamshedpur in 2004.
