James Weston is an experienced engineering leader and software developer with a focus on iOS development and systems engineering. Currently serving as Head of Engineering at Percent since November 2015, James has played a crucial role in launching the Percent rocket. Prior to this, James held positions as Lead iOS Developer and Senior iOS Developer at Percent and Shopwave, respectively, where responsibilities included maintaining and developing core products and integrating various Apple technologies. Earlier experience includes working as an iOS Developer at VouChaCha, contributing to the development of the VouChaCha iPhone SDK, and as a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Tokyo, conducting research on dependable chip multiprocessors. James holds a PhD in Electronic Engineering and a BEng in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Kent.
