Donn R. Githens has a wealth of experience in executive leadership and operations management. Donn R. is currently serving as the President & CEO of Goodwill Manasota since July 2022. Prior to this role, they held the positions of President and Vice President of Operations at Goodwill Manasota, where they were responsible for overseeing the successful operation of various departments and implementing performance improvement initiatives.

Before their time at Goodwill Manasota, Githens worked at Goodwill of North Georgia as the Regional Director of Retail Operations and later as the Director of Transportation and Attended Donation Centers. In these roles, they managed store operations, coordinated logistics for donation pickups, and supervised a large fleet of drivers.

Donn R. also gained experience at Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers as the Director of Retail Operations for the Southern District, overseeing multiple store locations and achieving significant revenue growth.

Prior to their work in the nonprofit sector, Githens served as a Regional Manager at Blockbuster Video, where they managed operations for multiple stores and implemented marketing strategies. Donn R. also worked as an Assistant Manager at Tandy, Videoconcepts, and Radio Shack.

Throughout their career, Githens has demonstrated a strong ability to drive organizational success through effective leadership, strategic planning, and performance improvement initiatives.

Donn R. Githens holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Florida State University. Donn R. later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Ashford University.
