Carl Slate II

Carl Slate II is an experienced professional with a strong background in talent acquisition and retail management. Currently serving as Platform Architect for Human Capital Management at Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia since April 2014, Carl designs and develops the technical architecture of the organization's software platform while also managing recruiting initiatives. Previous roles include Talent Acquisition Manager, Lead Recruiter, Retail Operations Manager, and Retail Assistant Manager, where responsibilities included implementing recruiting technologies, overseeing teams, and maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers. Carl has also held managerial positions at Follett Higher Education Group and Barnes & Noble College. Carl holds a Bachelor of Science in Data Management/Data Analytics from Western Governors University and is a graduate of Jamestown High School.
