Eyal Shahar is an experienced UX designer and leader, currently heading the UX for the Gemini project at Google since November 2017, focusing on data analysis user journeys. Previous roles at Google include UX Lead for Natural Language Understanding tools and Head of UX for Apigee on the Google Cloud Platform. Eyal co-founded Wondermall, an award-winning mobile shopping app acquired by Rakuten, and managed Shahar UX, a boutique design studio providing services primarily for startups. Eyal's extensive background includes co-founding Labgoo, heading projects at Walla!, and serving as Chief UX Officer at nana10. Eyal's career began with a role as an Electric Engineering Instructor in the Israeli Air Force, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication Design from the Holon Institute of Technology.
