Katie Morgenroth

Katie Morgenroth is an experienced design professional with a strong focus on sustainability and industrial design. Currently serving as the Head of Sustainable Design for Pixel, Nest, and Fitbit at Google since November 2015, Katie has also held roles such as Industrial Design Manager for Google Nest and Google Home, as well as Design Lead for Project ARA at Google ATAP. Prior experience includes serving as Principal Industrial Designer at Motorola and Senior Industrial Designer at both Skullcandy and Insight Product Development. Academically, Katie holds a Bachelor of Fine and Applied Art in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Master of Product Design & Development from Northwestern University, and is pursuing a Professional Certificate in Sustainability Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
