Laura Wheeler

Laura Wheeler is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in public relations and digital marketing. Currently serving as the Head of Communications for Google Cloud in the UKI, Middle East, Turkey, and Africa since September 2018, Laura develops strategies and manages public relations for Google Cloud executives and programs. Previously, Laura held the position of Director of External Communications at Clarivate Analytics, leading a global team and engaging multiple agencies. Before that, Laura worked as the Director of Communications and Engagement at Digital Science, overseeing online marketing and press activities. Early in Laura's career, experience included roles at Nature Publishing Group, where communications and media strategies were implemented, and blogging for The Huffington Post. Education includes a focus on communications strategy and storytelling at the University of Cambridge, along with a first-class degree in Biochemistry from the University of Leeds.
