Reena Merchant is an accomplished UX leader with extensive experience in the tech industry, currently serving as Director of UX for Google Search and YouTube Ads since 2017. Merchant is also the founder of OurVoice, a community organization focused on promoting self-esteem and authentic presence. In addition to directorial roles, Merchant contributes to academia as an Advisory Board Member for the UC Irvine Master of Human Computer Interaction and Design program. Previous positions include Senior User Experience Manager at Sony PlayStation and Citrix, as well as consulting roles for various organizations. Reena Merchant holds an MBA in Design Strategy from California College of the Arts and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Toronto.
