Rustin Banks

Rustin Banks is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management and technology innovation. Currently serving as a Product Manager in AI Security at Google since August 2020, Rustin has also played a pivotal role as a Mentor at Techstars since January 2017. Prior to Google, Rustin was the Chief Revenue Officer at DNSFilter, where responsibilities included initiating the revenue engine for an AI-based security company. As the Founder and Director of SoaringSafe and the Human Improvement Project, Rustin developed a leading parental control app and created one of the top parenting apps on Android. Rustin co-founded and held the positions of CEO and CPO at TapInfluence, raising $22 million for its influencer marketing software platform, while earlier roles included Senior Focal Plane Engineer at Ball Aerospace and Electrical Engineer at Space Dynamics Laboratory. Rustin holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Utah State University.
