Sandeep Tata is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in machine learning and data management. Currently employed at Google since January 2013, Sandeep has led initiatives to enhance Google Drive's user experience through intelligent document recommendations and previously developed scalable machine learning infrastructure for product recommendations. Prior to Google, Sandeep worked as a research staff member at IBM Almaden Research Center, focusing on scale-out data management and contributing to the development of the early NoSQL system, Spinnaker, which was published in PVLDB. Sandeep holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Michigan and a BTech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
