Zach Patton

Zach Patton serves as the Head of Legal at Gradient Ventures since May 2018 and has been a Senior Counsel focused on M&A and Investments at Google since September 2013, where key responsibilities include acting as lead internal counsel for acquisitions and investments. Patton also holds a position as Director and Vice President at The Autzen Foundation and volunteers on the Bay Area Advisory Committee for Western Rivers Conservancy. Prior experience includes an M&A Associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati and a Corporate Associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell, along with roles supporting legal research for Professor Arthur Miller and an internship in the Office of Counsel to the President at The White House. Patton earned a JD from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Oregon.
