Michelle Tsai

Michelle Tsai is an experienced professional in product safety, quality, and compliance, currently serving as the Senior Director at GoPro since January 2016. With a background that includes roles as Director of Product Safety and Compliance and Senior Manager of Product Design Safety Engineering, Michelle has been instrumental in implementing global regulatory compliance and safety initiatives for GoPro's product ecosystem. Prior to GoPro, Michelle worked at Consumer Reports as an Automotive and Child Safety Engineer, developing crash test protocols for child safety restraints, and held a Quality Engineer position at Stryker Orthopaedics, addressing quality issues and performing failure analyses. Michelle began her career at Ford Motor Company, coordinating crash testing for various vehicle models. Michelle holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Wayne State University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
