Kara R. currently works as a Human Resource Business Partner at Bridging North America, a major construction project joint venture with Canada. Kara has experience in workforce management, human resources, retention, service development, and insurance sales at companies such as Guardian Alarm, Stellantis, FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, General Motors, Ken Garff Automotive Group, Dialog Direct, State Farm, and AAA. Kara holds a MSA in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from Central Michigan University, a Bachelor of Arts in Labor Studies from Wayne State University, an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Mortuary Science and Embalming/Embalmer from Wayne County Community College District, and a certificate in Patient Care Technician from Dorsey College.
Bridging North America
Bridging North America is WDBA’s private-sector partner and is responsible to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Canadian and US Ports of Entry and the bridge, and to design, build and finance the Michigan Interchange under a public-private partnership agreement (P3). The state of Michigan will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of the Michigan Interchange. Bridging North America is comprised of ACS Infrastructure, Fluor and Aecon, which are firms with local experience and knowledge, world-class transportation expertise and a proven ability to deliver bridge, facility and highway infrastructure projects.
