Alejandro Mendoza has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Software Engineer Intern at Intuit in 2014. Alejandro then joined Intuit again in 2016 as an Android Mobile Engineer at Mint, where they worked on building testing infrastructure and became the scrum master for the Mint Growth mission team.
In 2018, Alejandro co-founded Tutorfly.com, a marketplace connecting parents with student-tutors. Alejandro served as the Co-Founder & CTO, overseeing the development and operations of the platform. In 2021, a majority stake of Tutorfly.com was sold to Kip McGrath Education Centres, and Alejandro transitioned to the role of Board Member.

Our core team is based in California, comprised of four first-generation immigrants whose parents benefitted immensely from peer tutoring while pursuing the American Dream. We are paying the support our parents received forward by making educational programs easy to start and maintain for all schools, no matter how big or small. We are live in all 50 states and are here for you, just as you were for our parents.
