Nevette Bailey, Ph.D., currently serves as Vice President of Engineering & Technology at Gotham, a position held since March 2024. Previously, Nevette held various roles at Etsy from March 2020 to January 2024, progressing from Software Engineer to Senior Software Engineer, where significant contributions included leading projects that improved seller ads adoption. Nevette's earlier experience includes fellowships at The Grace Hopper Program at Fullstack Academy and research at Columbia University, where co-authorship of five peer-reviewed publications took place. Education includes a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Columbia University and degrees in Chemistry and French from Northwestern University. Additional roles include private tutoring, yoga instruction, and dance with various ballet companies.
