Matt Styrka has a range of work experience in sales and management roles. Matt is currently the Head of Sales at GovNet. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as the Senior Commercial Partnerships Manager for the IMechE team at Think Publishing Ltd. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2019, they held various roles at CPL – Cambridge Publishers Ltd, including Head of Media Sales and Media Sales Account Manager. In 2012, they worked as an Accounts Executive at Robert Half International. From 2007 to 2012, they were the Group Sales Manager at Ten Alps Media, managing key clients and a sales team. Lastly, from 2004 to 2007, they were the Group Sales Manager at Mongoose Media, also managing key clients and a sales team.
Matt Styrka completed their A Levels in History, Business Studies, and Maths at John Hampden Grammar School from 1996 to 1998. Matt then pursued higher education at De Montfort University from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and History. In July 2020, they also obtained a certification in "Empathy for Sales Professionals" from LinkedIn.
