Jesse Rufener

Jesse Rufener has a diverse range of work experience. Jesse started their career as a Farm Hand at Pine Tree Dairy in 1997, where they worked until 2000. From 2000 to 2003, they worked as a Laborer/Carpenter at Jon Kipfer Construction, specializing in framing and trim carpentry. In 2003, they joined GPD Group as an Engineering Co-op, where they worked on coordinating and designing various projects in the United States. Jesse then continued their career at GPD Group in 2005 as a Water Resources Engineer, responsible for site design, stormwater management, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, floodplain studies, and stream restoration design. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in project coordination, design, permitting, and construction in the field of water resources and site development.

Jesse Rufener pursued their education in Civil Engineering, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from The University of Akron between the years 2000 and 2005. Jesse further expanded their knowledge in the field by pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Akron from 2014 to 2022.
