Alison Highlander

Alison Highlander currently serves as Senior Vice President and Head of People at GRAIL since January 2025. Prior to this role, Highlander was Vice President of Human Resources at Silk Road Medical, Inc. from November 2017 to December 2024, where significant contributions were made as the first HR leader, establishing a productive HR team focused on talent acquisition, rewards programs, and employee relations. Highlander also held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Roche Molecular Systems, overseeing HR strategies for a company with $1.7 billion in revenue and 1,800 global employees. Earlier in the career, Highlander managed international HR initiatives at Roche’s Corporate Headquarters and served as Director of Human Resources at SRI Consulting. Educational achievements include an MBA in Business Administration and Finance from Santa Clara University and a BS in Business Administration from the University of the Pacific - Eberhardt School of Business.
