Jason Brannock has a diverse work experience in various scientific research roles. Jason is currently a Research Associate 2 at GRAIL, where they focus on data analytics and is responsible for instrument failure troubleshooting and lab work. Before that, they served as a Research Assistant at North Carolina State University, conducting biochemistry experiments, and as a Computational Chemist at NC State University, focusing on improving dye-sensitized solar cells through computational modeling. Their earliest experience was as an Assisting Entomologist at David Tarpy's Entomology Lab, where they worked with European honey bees and conducted various experiments using TBARS assays, PCR, coding, and gel electrophoresis.
