Michael Anderson

Michael Anderson is an experienced sustainability professional with a demonstrated history of leadership in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the General Manager of Sustainability at GrainCorp since June 2022, previous positions include Head of Sustainability and Group Sustainability Manager at Goodman Fielder, and Program Manager for Off Farm Sustainability at Meat and Livestock Australia. Anderson also held several key roles at EPA Victoria, including Acting Manager of the Environmental Resources Efficiency Program (EREP) and Project Manager, where responsibilities included managing staff, budgets, and sustainability initiatives. Additionally, experience as a consultant for Waste Audit and Consultancy Services involved leading waste audits and supporting resource efficiency programs. Michael holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from UNSW and completed the Sustainability Practitioner Programme at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership in 2016.
