Craig Ruchs

Craig Ruchs has extensive experience in the agricultural sector, currently serving as Head of Strategy, Insights & Planning at the Grains Research and Development Corporation since March 2016, following roles as Senior Regional Manager and Manager Grower Services for the Southern Region. Prior to this, Craig Ruchs held significant positions at Syngenta from May 2010 to February 2016, including Head Herbicide Marketing ASEAN and Regional Herbicide Lead for Product Biology in the APAC region. Earlier career experience includes serving as Senior Research Scientist at Peracto Pty Ltd and various roles at Syngenta, including Technical Services Lead and Senior Field Biologist. Craig Ruchs began the career as a Research Agronomist at IAMA. Educationally, Craig Ruchs holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Science from the University of Adelaide, obtained between 1996 and 1999, and completed studies at Urrbrae Agricultural High from 1991 to 1995.
