Lora Hernandez, MBA, has extensive experience in human resources management within the hospitality industry, currently serving as the Area Director of Human Resources at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa since July 2021. Previously, Lora held various human resources leadership positions, including Director of Human Resources at Hyatt Regency Schaumburg, Hotel Arista, Sheraton Chicago O'Hare Hotel, Embassy Suites Chicago O'Hare Rosemont, and Beverly Garland Hotel. Lora began as an Assistant Director of Human Resources at Grand Geneva Resort and served as the Human Resource Director at Crowne Plaza Northstar. Notable responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, managing departmental budgets, and overseeing employee benefits for large teams. Lora holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources from Ottawa University, along with additional certifications in Human Resources Management.
