Mechanical Engineer III at Grant County Public Utility District

Joseph Key, EIT, currently serves as a Mechanical Engineer II at Grant County Public Utility District, where responsibilities include managing small engineering design projects and supporting full-time engineers since June 2019. Key held earlier roles as Mechanical Engineer I and Mechanical Engineering Intern within the same organization. Additionally, Joseph led a group of 12 college students as the WSOS Scholar Lead for the Washington State Opportunity Scholarship from September 2019 to August 2020, facilitating workshops and addressing student inquiries. As a CWU ASME Club Senator from September 2019 to June 2020, Joseph participated in meetings, proposed project funding, and requested financial support for the club. Prior experience includes working as a Farm Hand at Tonnemaker Hill Farm from June 2015 to September 2018, gaining valuable agricultural skills. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Central Washington University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Big Bend Community College.
