Ruth Sturmey

Ruth Sturmey is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as an Outsourcing Manager at Grant Thornton UK LLP since November 2022, having previously held the role of Assistant Manager. Prior to this, Ruth worked at Bertram Burrows from October 2020 to November 2022 as an Accountant and Assistant Accountant, and gained further experience as an Assistant Accountant at RSM UK from August 2016 to October 2020. Early in her career, Ruth was an Equestrian Event Groom at Heath House Event Horses and worked part-time as a Dairy Worker at Whitegate Farm. Additionally, Ruth served as a Teaching Assistant in a special needs school during a gap year. Educational achievements include obtaining the ACA accounting qualification from ICAEW and AAT qualifications from Kaplan College, along with a degree in Veterinary Science from the University of Liverpool.
