Job Summary 

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead to join our Platform Quality Assurance team, responsible for influencing technical efforts across all constituent teams to achieve high quality testing practices. As part of this role, you will work closely with the Platform Quality Assurance director to develop and implement quality testing strategy. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop and maintain standards and processes for testing across all constituent teams. 
• Collaborate with the Platform Quality Assurance director on the strategy. 
• Coach and mentor Quality Assurance engineers within the constituent teams on best practices, tool selection, and process improvement. 
• Develop the technical community within Platform Quality Assurance and Quality Assurance adjacent teams across the company. 
• Maintain awareness of emerging industry trends and practices in the domain of testing and quality assurance. 

Skills and Experience

[Essential]

• Strong expertise with integrated hardware and software testing and quality assurance. 
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring and/or coaching skills. 
• Persuasive writer and speaker. 
• Competent analytical and critical thinker, experience of making informed decisions. 
• Aptitude for responsibilities & duties above. 
• English- C1 level. 

[Desirable]

• Domain experience of new product introduction (datacentre scale-up compute server). 
• Experience of technical leadership accountability for quality assurance/testing. 
• Experience of significantly influencing and drafting standards and processes of a quality assurance group. 
• 14+ years of relevant experience related to quality assurance/testing teams. 
• Experience with the Atlassian suite.
