Alex Lee has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. They are currently working at Graphcore as a Team Lead for Logical Design. Prior to this role, they worked as a Member of the Engineering Team at Graphcore, gaining knowledge in areas such as PCIe Specification and microarchitectural chip design.
Before joining Graphcore, Alex worked at Argon Design Ltd, where they held the positions of Group Leader and Principal Engineer. As a Group Leader, they led a team in designing FPGA-based trading systems for the high-performance trading sector. They also gained experience in video encoding hardware while working on C firmware test coverage and hardware cache implementation.
Additionally, Alex worked as a Tutor at Tech Camp and as a Design Engineer at Argon Design Ltd. They also had a research opportunity as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Cambridge and gained industry experience as a Summer Placement Student at TT Electronics.
Alex Lee attended the University of Cambridge from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering.
